The St Lawrence Market is an amazing neighbourhood to call home. Riddled with historical significance, it’s steps to the greatest food market in the world and walking distance to Toronto’s Financial core. It’s really central which makes it really easy to get wherever you need to go in the city. Not that you’d need or even want to leave often; everything you could imagine is close by.

The Real Estate Scoop

If you thinking about making the St Lawrence Market your new home, than you should know that St Lawrence Market real estate is all about condos and lofts. Tonnes of them. While you can find the odd section of townhomes, they’re not in abundance here because it’s so central. St Lawrence Market real estate is more about closer and trendy loft and condo spaces. Check out the historic and modern St Lawrence Market Lofts building (I’ll go with you) or the gorgeous Berczy and you’ll see the type of architecture and style that the neighbourhood is known for right now. Simply beautiful.

The Neighbourhood

Looking for fresh and local ingredients for your next dinner party? You won’t have to go far at all. The St Lawrence Market has everything you could ever need, and it’s basically at your doorstep. That’s pretty convenient if you ask me. It’s 3 buildings full of local vegetables, meat, fish, baked yummy goodness, cheese, and a whole lot more. If that’s not impressive enough, here’s an interesting fact: it was also named the Number 1 food market in the entire world by National Geographic! If that’s not a resounding endorsement, I don’t know what is.

Looking for a night out close to home? The St Lawrence Market neighbourhood has plenty of bars, restaurants, and pubs all within walking distance, and I can personally attest to the fact that The Wine Bar and Betty’s are fantastic places to go to with friends. If drinking isn’t your thing, that’s cool too. You’re also within walking distance of some of the city’s best theatres and unique city landmarks.
